Description:
This 6th variation pistol is in excellent condition with 99% original finish. Matching numbers, no import markings, no pits, no rust. Excellent bright shiny bore. Excellent grips have late grip medallion with a cat and its tail curving upward over its head to form a stylized letter D. This mark is also on the left side of the slide and the magazine base.
The Ortgies-pistol has an elegant compact shape with a well-made solid feel and a number of interesting design features. The barrel design allows easy conversion from 7.65mm to 9mm by swapping out the barrels. (Magazines accommodate either cartridge.) The safety button and the grip safety work together. Once squeezed, the grip safety stays in the “fire” position until it is released by pushing the safety button on the left side.
I have not fired this gun but all aspects function normally when worked by hand.
