*** SOLD *** SOLD *** "Collector grade" 1968 Savage 99PE Presentation Grade (serial # 1173830) in 308 Winchester with 22" barrel remains in "just about mint" condition. You are about to look at the "best of the best" when it comes to knock-out wood on a Savage 99. The wood on this PE is just beyond gorgeous and full of beautiful grain end to end. Look at the pictures !! The PE was manufactured from 1965 to 1970 and was one of the first factory engraved guns since the 99K in 1940. The satin silver finished receiver has full coverage, factory engraving with a mountain lion on the right receiver and a bull elk on the left receiver. The Monte Carlo stock and forearm are made of highly figured American black walnut with fine hand cut checkering. This amazing Savage 99 PE can be yours if you call or e-mail. $70 S&H to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $80 S&H. Post office money orders preferred for payment.
