Description:
This beautiful McKay O/U is a treasure. Made in 2008- ordered by a gentleman who enjoyed the ownership of a McKay although he did not shoot them. He ordered a number of them and this was his last one. We put a box of shells through it and it functioned perfectly. The 29 inch barrels provide just the right amount of momentum that a lighter gauge needs. The balance and handling are superb. The wood that was used for thie beauty is outstanding and compliments the exquisite full Scottish scroll perfectly. We don't know how many of the lighter gauge O/U's that McKay made as Dallas' book only goes through 2010. David has announced that he is retiring soon and this signals the end of the era of the esquisite trigger plate Scottish shogtguns which started with the famous Dickson made in Edinburgh.
