Belgian Large Bore Percussion Pistol. Bore is approximately .65 caliber with deep rifling. Manufactured in 1850. Octagonal barrel has a very fine Damascus pattern. The action works perfectly. The lock, cock, breech plug trigger, guard and buttcap are all expertly engraved in a leaf scrolling tendril motif. The stock forend is carved in a leaf pattern also. The pistol grip is fluted in both sides. Barrel length is 6 ¾”. Overall length is 13”. This pistol is in excellent condition and shows little or no use. Very well made pistol.
