Description:
Antonio Zoli Sport Extra 12 gauge O/U shotgun. An exceptional sporting clays gun with 32” vent rib barrels; 3” chambers, 10 choke tubes (5 extended factory & 5 after-market extended/ported). The vent rib tapers from 7/16” at the breech to 5/16” at the muzzle. Made in 2008.
This gun comes with two complete sets of wood. The dark, highly-grained set has a 14 7/8” LOP over a ½” factory pad; 1 9/16” DAC and 2 ¼” DAH with neutral cast at the heel and 1/8” right hand cast at the toe. With this wood installed the gun weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz.
The custom, dramatically grained set of wood by Wenig has a 15” LOP over a 1” Kick-Eez pad; 1 7/16” DAC and 1 ¼” DAH with left hand cast of 1/8” at the heel and 1/2” right hand cast at the toe; and a right-hand palm swell. With this wood installed the gun weighs 8 lbs. 5 oz. Replacement cost on this set of wood is in excess of $3,000.00.
The mechanics of this gun are fresh. It was completed updated and tuned this year by factory gunsmiths. Note the position of the top lever far to the right..that’s how tight this gun is!
The Extra has 80% fine scroll engraving and the deluxe factory wood as noted above. Cased with all 10 choke tubes, wrench and tools this gun is ready for your next shoot and comes with both sets of wood.
There is an area on the bottom of the barrels, just ahead of the forearm where the blue is “thinning”, perhaps from a sporting cart carrier rack. Otherwise this gun has a strong 98% overall condition.
