Description:
1st. Model J.M. Cooper with 6 inch barrel, manufactured in Philadelphia, PA.  It is .36 caliber double action.  Barrel markings on 3 lines, including the word "ADDRESS", which was dropped from the 2nd. model.  Iron frame as opposed to the brass frame of the 2nd. model.  Shorter cylinder length with a large barrel bolster, loading lug cut out on the rigth side as opposed to both sides on the 2nd.model.  Excellent working condition in both single action and double action.  A great example of a Civil War era revolver that many collectors consider a secondary martial arm.
