Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: The Savage Model 1915 is a semi-automatic pocket pistol produced by the Savage Arms, from 1915 until 1917. It was chambered in .32 ACP and in .380 ACP. Although smaller in size, it is derived from the .45 caliber semi-automatic trials pistol Savage submitted to the US Army to choose a new semi-automatic sidearm and ultimately lost to the now famous Colt 1911 entry. The Model 1915 is often erroneously called a Model 1905 because of the date "Nov. 21, 1905" date stamped into the top of the slide. This is the date Elbert Searle was awarded the firearm patents, from which this pistol is designed. This Model 1915 is in very good condition with 90% of the original bluing remaining. The bore is frosted, but still has sharp visible rifling. The action is smooth and this pistol locks into battery perfectly. If your looking to add a unique early semi-automatic firearm to your collection. Then this Savage Model 1915 would be an excellent choice.
