High Standard, H-D Military, .22LR, 10 Round magazine. Serial Number: 277166, MFG 1948 This beautiful High Standard H-D Military was originally designed as a training pistol for the military. The H-D features a heavy 4 1/2" barrel, exposed hammer and heel magazine release. Accurate and reliable. Purchase includes one 10 round magazine. - In 1943 Hi-Standard developed and produced a .22 caliber automatic pistol for military training, and this was given the designation Mod. U.S.A.-H-D, and following the war (in 1946) this became Mod. H-DM (or H-D Military Model. It's manufacture ceased in 1951.
