Description:
Estate sale find. Stephen Grant 12 gauge side by side under lever hammer shotgun. 30 inch barrels. Metal is in good shape with Damascus grey patina with several small dings along the barrels but they do not go through. The wood has no cracks but have numerous dings and several small, but not too deep scratches. Bores are pitted. Heavy pitting from breech but progressively gets better towards the end of the barrels. Action is tight and both hammers cock. Silver medallion in stock is un-engraved.
This is a black powder shotgun and under no circumstances should modern shells be fired in it. If you plan on firing this shotgun, it must be inspected by a gunsmith. Seller accepts no liability.

This shotgun was manufactured between 1877 and 1879 so it is considered an antique and therefore no FFL is required. I have done my best to describe this shotgun accurately. I will do my best to answer any questions. If you need additional photos, let me know.
