#112229, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 in 30-06 Made in 1949, 24" barrel, No rear sight with a blank in the dovetail, Early style machined integral front ramp, Factory front sight hood, Standard 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Straight comb stock without a monte carlo comb, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes & swivels, 13 5/8" LOP over the factory checkered steel buttplate, 8 lbs. 2 oz., All the metal very nicely reblued, All metal now 99%, The original wood finish at 80%, The checkering is 80%, The bore is absolutely excellent. It is missing the forward barrel tiedown screw. This is a very honest using Model 70 that is ready to go hunting.
