PRE-WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 or M-1 GAS TRAP GARAND .30-06 RIFLE VERY EARLY PRODUCTION DATE NOVEMBER 1939. Rebuilt original M1 gas trap serial numbered in the 21,xxx range. Original stock, handguard and forend. Commercial unmarked barrel and gas trap. Balance of parts original post gas trap replacements and commercial replacements. Very good overall with all the later Parkerizing. Wood with the lightly worn original finish and good encircled “P” proof on inside of pistol grip. Working order and excellent bore.
