Scarce Colt Bisley Flat-Top Target in .38 Colt. Only 96 of the Bisleys were manufactured in this caliber making one in this condition an incredible find and addition to anyones collection. This revolver is in excellent condition retaining nearly all of the highly polished blue finish with very minimal high edge wear. The grips are also in excellent condition, the bore is bright, shiny and clear, mechanically excellent. The factory letter indicates a shipment date of January 13, 1898 to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, MO. Dimensions are as follows: BBL. 7 1/2" WT. 42oz.
