Custom 8lb DG rifle built on a bullet-proof action, 24" medium heavy bbl rollstamped "McGowen Barrel" with excellent bore, recessed crown, and banded sling swivel base freshly slow-rust blued. Newly sighted with Williams Ghost Ring receiver sight and "Streamlined" front ramp screwed and sweated to barrel. Timney side safety trigger. Glass-bedded in a satin-finished stock with interesting figure and a couple of plugged sling stud holes, 14" LOP through a generous soft rubber pad. Feeds and ejects smoothly. Great caliber, brass easily made from 458, outpenetrates that caliber.
