Description:
This 6.5x50mm Jap Arisaka Type 38 Carbine bolt action rifle made by the Mukden Arsenal in Manchuria and is a series 6 line up. It has a blued 19-1/2” blued tapered round barrel mounted with an elevation adjustable rear flip up ladder sight and a windage adjustable pyramid front sight. The bore is very good. The top of the receiver had the chrysanthemum but it has been ground off. The Select Hardwood stock is in good condition with just some dents and scratches from usage; you can see where the stock was spliced on both sides of the butt. The rifle features a metal buttplate, a dust cover “non-matching numbers”, handguard and military sling swivels. This rifle does have some scattered pitting on the dustcover and receiver. Length of pull is 13-1/4”, overall length is 38”, weight is 6.8 lbs. Our stock number is A863. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
