Description:
Outstanding Winchester 70 Super Grade in scarce .257 Roberts caliber. S/N 218*** made in 1952. The bolt is faintly scribed but I can make out parts of each number and it is clearly matching. 99% condition overall showing only some slight wear toward the leading edge of floorplate at the balance point. 24" Barrel with excellent bore, mechanically excellent as well. Correct Super Grade appointments including properly stamped floorplate, Redfield front sight, and original swivels. A beautiful rifle in near new condition.
