Near excellent original finish with most major components rust blued. Hammer, trigger, and screws strawed. Safety fire blued. Finely checkered narrow grips. Complete with original monkey tail charger. Wood case with original corded felt lined base with compartments for spare barrel, standard clip, oil bottle, screwdriver and cleaning rod, none of those accessories present. Lid lining and bottom of case are replacements.

Synopsis:
Excellent original condition early production Bergmann M1896 No. 3 with screw-in barrel, long flutes, no extractor, and narrow grip with clip and case.

Condition:
At least 97% original rust blue with holster and handling wear in expected places. Front and back strap straps excellent. Comparable condition small parts that show no evidence of enhancement. Original grips with blunted checkering, no splits or appreciable losses. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful early production Bergmann M1896 No.3 with monkey tail clip in case that should please any collector of early automatic pistols. ANTIQUE. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
