Extremely scarce Vickers-Pedersen model PA, approximately 300 manufactured in the 1920s for US Army trials, officially known as the T1E3 rifle, and was the chief competitor to the M1 Garand. SN 200. Cal. .276 Pedersen. Unusual toggle delayed blowback action, self-loading rifle, ventilated metal handguard and helically finned barrel. 10-round clip loaded magazine. Left side receiver marked “PEDERSEN SELF-LOADER PA/VICKERS-ARMSTRONGS LTD.” with British test proofs rear of the receiver. Unusual micrometer rear sight design. Standard stock with ventilation holes under forend, three sets of sling swivels, and smooth buttplate. Parkerized metal components. Varnished stock.

Condition:
95% original parkerizing (in real life, metal parts have more of a green tone) with comparable condition wood having scattering of handling dings. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the more unusual military test rifles and one of very few ever made with a toggle action. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
