Description:
A contemporary flintlock double barrel 28 gauge shotgun made by Dale Johnson of NE Tennessee. It is chocked IC and C and weighs 6 pounds and 1 ounce. It has a beautiful flame grain Walnut stock that has a finely checkered wrist. All metal work to include engraving and case colors was done by Dale. The wood work was done by J. Cannon, another NE TN gunsmith that worked with Dale on a number of projects. A very attractive well made gun with 26 inch barrels. It has Nock's breeches as you can see in the photo's and LOP is 14 inches.
