Description:
Winchester Model of 1873 deluxe Pistol Grip Sporting Rifle .44-40wcf. This Rifle will letter with Checkered Deluxe Pistol Grip, Factory Sling Swivels, 1/2 Octagon 24 inch Barrel, Rocky Mountain front Sight with Copper Blade, Set Trigger and Case Hardened Receiver. The serial number of this example is 200428 placing date of manufacture in 1886. Overall condition is very good with the Barrel and Magazine retaining 80-85% of the original Factory Rust Blue. The bore is near perfect with strong Rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate an 8.5 on a 1 tp 10 scale, well cared for. The Case Hardened Receiver is "Silvered Out" no Case Colors observed. The Action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. The Single Set Trigger is mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect, the Sling Swivel on the Forearm is missing, easily raided. Very Rare Third Model 1873 Deluxe.
