Beautiful and original, this rifle is ready to hunt, or just hang it on your wall and admire. Built in 1928, this is a rifle, not a carbine. It has a 26" barrel with a mint bright bore and approx 90% blue. Nothing altered, humped on or fixed. No cracks in the original factory Winchester stock nor fore end. Looks like someone put a coat of laquer on it to protect it from the elements about 75 some years ago. Action is clean and smooooth. 40% blue on the lever, receiver has mostly worn silver. Nice original buckhorn sight with a patent date of FEB 22 '27. Front blade has a brass bead. All straight as an arrow and goes to my shoulder like it is supposed to be there. The 26" barrel gives it a long sight radius, wonderful balance and a feeling that you can really reach out a ways. I would not hesitate a heartbeat to take this out and bring home some meat. This rifle is a real sweetheart, almost 100 years old, and good to go. $45 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
