Description:
Description:
Standard drift adjustable front sight, tangent rear sight, graded from 50-500 over half the length of the sight bar. Left side of thumbprint slide with usual two line FN address surmounting patent reference and Belgian proofs that are repeated on the left side of the frame and on the barrel hood. Internal extractor. Matching serial number on the right side of slide, right frame, and inner surface of barrel hood. Factory slotted for shoulder stock. Bordered, wood checkered grips. Correct unnumbered magazine with phosphate body marked with an encircled H at bottom of spine, aluminum follower and blued split tail floorplate.

Synopsis:
Super scarce FN High Power, one of the first 1100 pistols made with an oval ejection port, fully matching, for military evaluation/testing, prior to initiating large scale production. In the “FN Browning Pistols” by Vanderlinden, copyright 2013, only eleven examples had been reported to the author.

Condition:
VG-EXC original condition with sharp edge wear as one might expect from a holstered pistol that has seen careful use. Surprisingly strong front and backstraps. Excellent grips with crisp checkering, handling marks, and a few minor bruises. Comparable condition magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. An exceedingly scarce oval port FN Hi Power as trialed by the Belgian Military. Seldom offered for sale and a holy grail for any Hi Power or Military pistol collector.  A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!

Buyer is responsible for a flat 2nd day FedEx shipping fee of $155.
