Description:
Standard configuration ZFK 31/55, one of approximately 5000 such rifles, an evolution of the K31 /42 and K31/43 sniper rifles, this one with telescopic sights, heavy barrel, flash suppressor/muzzle brake and center-mounted foldable bipod. In addition to the standard K31 rear sight calibrated from 1-15, these guns were fitted with a quick detachable 3.5 power Kern telescopic sight, with serial numbering on top surface, whose reticle includes a thick central post with two horizontal hairs. The receiver has a Swiss “cross over chamber” with full serial number on left receiver and bolt. Matching barrel and magazine whose base is marked “Zf. Kar. 1153”. Khaki green scope can with top numbered to scope and dual set of belt loops, includes cap adjustment and screwdriver.

Near excellent Swiss Bern ZFK 31/55, early production, with original stock, matching scope, can, and correct sling.
Condition:
Approximately 90-95% original blue, import mark on barrel whose finish is thinned, with comparable condition black painted bipod. Scope is in even better condition, having over 98% original blue, missing some white paint in the lettering, with bright crisp optics. Near excellent stock with walnut staining and finish, no evidence of sanding. Scattered handling dings with a small chip missing from the checkering on the right side. Good condition sling. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful early production ZFK 31/55 sniper rifle, this one the 153rd rifle made, with matching scope and can. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
