Description:
Standard configuration ZFK 31/55, one of approximately 5000 such rifles, an evolution of the K31 /42 and K31/43 sniper rifles, this one with telescopic sights, heavy barrel, flash suppressor/muzzle brake, center-mounted foldable bipod, and armorers kit. In addition to the standard K31 rear sight calibrated from 1-15, these guns were fitted with a quick detachable 3.5 power Kern telescopic sight, with serial numbering on top surface, whose reticle includes a thick central post with two horizontal hairs. The receiver has a Swiss “cross over chamber” with full serial number on left receiver and bolt. Matching barrel and magazine whose base is marked “Zf. Kar. 3391”. Khaki green scope can numbered to scope and dual set of belt loops, includes screwdriver. Fully equipped armorers kit with separate leather bag full of small parts in addition to a spare rear sight, trigger, trigger spring, and the usual components compartmentalized in dark tan colored canvas roll up bag with leather trim dated “38” secured with buckled strap.

Condition:
VG-EXC with original finish blue, faded around barrel and bipod as photographed, stock with a scattering of superficial dents and scratches. No crack at tang. Import mark on barrel. Scope is VG-EXC, retaining 95% of the highlighting white paint. Scope with slightly hazy optic but crisp crosshairs. Good condition sling. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition armorers kit. Overall, a very nice ZFK 31/55 sniper rifle, all matching, with near-mirror bore and armorers kit.
