"VKT" and "L-35" marked on top of slide that has the prominent rounded protrusion to house accelerator in front of rear sight. Full matching serial number on left side of slide, left side of frame and on top of bolt. Electropenciled "E" on various small parts including the shaft of the takedown lever and trigger. Correct brown mottled plastic grips each molded with the VKT logo and secured with a single screw. Original, experimental shoulder stock, one of only 50 made, with two piece body, stained and heavily varnished, as correct. Small parts salt blued with lug having heavy mill marks and small inspection marking on right side. Spare magazine is kept in a sheet metal housing mounted on lower spine with spring loaded retainer. Takedown tool inside lid. Synopsis: Exceedingly scarce first variation military L-35 Lahti, one of the first to have been issued in 1940, with original, experimental shoulder stock, one of 50 made, and spare 'SA' marked magazine. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent original shoulder stock with small cracked repair above latch release button. Comparable condition metal fittings with no evidence of touchup, same holds true for the attached leather belt loop. Secured pistol shows absolutely no wobble. An fantastic ensemble seldom offered for sale. Very, very impressive! ~~Insured shipping fee of $155; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
