Description:
For sale, a beautiful Greek Mannlicher sporter conversion featuring Monte Carlo stock with cheekrest, original M/S buttplate and gripcap (both metal), spoonhandle bolt (blued) with interesting flare out on handle) and single trigger.
Feeds, shoots and ejects perfectly.
Original military action and magazine - rebarrelled to 7x57. Receiver rail reads "Mannlicher Schoenauer 1930 System." Receiver ring still has "Y 1903/14" very faintly present.
Bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. 17" barrel.
Excellent bluing throughout on all metal. Minor marring on the bluing on the left siderail. One small spot of bluing loss on the nosecap.
Stock is excellent with no cracks or chips.
Interior of receiver shows old pitting was present. It does not impact function.
Unique trigger guard removal knob. Period Williams rear sight.
