#577943, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Featherweight in 30-06 Made in 1963 with controlled round feed with a claw extractor, 22" barrel with their folding rear sight, Factory front sight hood, Standard 3 position safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Featherweight Model 70 hinged floorplate, Redfield 2 piece scope bases with modern 1" scope rings, Monte carlo comb, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes on the stock, 13 11/16" LOP over a 1" pad, 7 lbs. 5 oz., Better than average wood for a 1963 Model 70, The original barrel blue is 98%, The receiver blue is 99%, The floorplate & trigger guard is 97%, The bolt knob is 98%, The wood finish at 96%, The checkering is 100%, The bore is new and looks like it did when it left the factory. This is a seldom used Model 70 that hasn't gone on any hard hunting trips. I believe it stayed home and was very lonely when all his mates in the gun cabinet went up the mountain. This is a solid Pre-64 piece in every respect.
