Description:
An unusual German double rifle with a Clam Shell action (unusual for this heavy caliber) and both triggers are single set. Cocking indicaters. Greener cross bolt and double underlugs. Automatic safety. This is the 400 Jeffery 3 inch caliber. An excellent big cat and buffalo caliber. One of John Taylor's favorate calibers. One fixed and four leaf sight. Locks up tight. Dated 9.26 and restamped 464. The second stamp is a mistery to me. Sling does not go with the rifle. Weighs 10 pounds and very good bores. Wood is solid and has the minimum of scratches and dings. Bores are very good with strong rifling. LOP 14 3/8"; DOC 1 3/4" LOP 14 3/8. No cast.
