This Colt Was Produced in 1917. The pistol's serial number is 183142. It has the standard 5 inch barrel. This barrel has the correct H Spaced P proof mark on the top of the barrel. The bore is in bright very fine condition. The barrel retains 94% of the original bluing. The frame and slide have 91% of the original soft blue finish. The grips are in very fine condition with no cracks or other damage. The checkering points are slightly flattened from holster wear.. The magazine is a correct two tone magazine with the staple on the magazine floor plate. The action is in fine condition. The slide is tight on the rails with little play.This is a very nice condition World War One Colt that has seen little service use. The following accessories come with this Colt. The holster is by Boyt 1917. The holster is in near new condition. The leather is supple with no cracking. The canvas belt is World War One issued. this belt is made by Mills Woven Cartridge Belt Co. There is no date on the belt. The magazine pouch is by Long And is dated 1918. The two magazines are the correct two tone magazines for World War One service. These magazines are in very nice condition. The two lanyards are the correct lanyards for World War One service. They are marked Pat Feb-20-17. These lanyards are also in fine condition. These items are great for displaying this Colt to show original accessories that come with the 1911 pistols. The original box of shells are for display only. This is a great pistol rig with a high quality collectable pistol and it's accessories.
