Description:
This special order Model 1892 rifle was manufactured in the second year of production. The 24 inch octagon barrel retains thinning original blue that is toning to brown. Sights include a German silver blade front sight and buckhorn sporting rear sight. Very light traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Receiver has about half of its original blue with some silvering to the high points. Nice smooth action and a good bore. Straight grip stock of nicely figured walnut is in good condition with a crescent buttplate and a repair at the toe.
