Description:
Collectible and rare early (1946) lever action 30-30 caliber in very good overall condition. Walnut stock and forearm show some handling marks but the wood finish is in good condition and the butt plate looks nearly new. Lever action, tube ammo feed and trigger mechanisms are all in good working condition indicating limited usage. There is some peppering on the exterior of the barrel, receiver and frame but the bluing overall is quite uniform. Interior parts and barrel do not exhibit rust or pitting indicating that the gun was stored or kept in climate controlled conditions for many years. A cursory inspection of the gun parts indicates that they are all original and no refinishing has been done to the barrel, frame or stock. Owner/seller holds an FFL- C&R permit and would be glad to answer buyer's questions.
