This is a Winchester Model 1894 Takedown in .38-55 Win. Carrying serial number 28859, this antique lever action rifle is dated from 1895.
The Winchester 94’s original metal finish shows honest patina for its age, with initial “LB” inscribed on lower tang underneath lever. Wood has handling marks but in otherwise good condition.
