Civil War Era Single Shot .28 rf very rare derringer. Mfg. in the early 1860's. Matching serial numbers. 3 1/2" Blued barrel still 80%+ faded blue condition. Brass frame in excellent condition. Roughly 6" overall length. Functions perfectly with nice tight fit. Very good bore. No barrel address which was not uncommon as some manufacturers including Bacon Mfg. Co. were providing these easy to carry derringers for numerous companies. Appears to possibly be a Merwin & Bray or Morgan & Clapp Single Shot Derringer. Nearly identical. Extremely nice original wooden grips. True survivor. Excellent acquisition for avid CW era collector. $25 Insured Shipping in USA.
