Built on the scarce and desirable 1910 Mexican Small Ring 98 action (dated 1931), this custom 243 has an unsighted 25" sporter weight barrel w. excellent bore, recessed crown, Buehler scope safety and a fully adjustable trigger set at 1 lb. The hand-rubbed oil finish stock is of superior figure with a wide flat-bottomed forend and pronounced comb. All glass-bedded, nicely done. Scoped Bushnell (Japan) Banner 3-9x40 in Weaver rings on Weaver bases. Blueing is a bit thin, could use a good rust blue POR. Good antelope rig. 9.5 lbs.
