Description:
Here's a neat one that you don't see every day; a Winchester 9422 Saddle Ring Carbine! Chambered in .22 LR, this fine carbine sports a 20" barrel, a beautiful walnut stock, and deep blued finish on the metal. Stock and fore end are perfectly sound, with just a scattered handful of tiny handling marks but no chips, cracks, or gouges. Original black plastic butt plate is excellent as well. Bluing on the metal is great, with just a few areas of thinning on the mag tube and barrel and two slightly dull areas on the top of the receiver groove from a long-gone scope. Front sight still has its original hood, and rear sight is present and complete. Bore is dusty but will no doubt clean up to be just as nice as the rest of the gun. Right side of bolt is starting to form a patina at the ejection port, but doesn't have any active corrosion or pitting. A fine and scarce 9422 variant that's ready to get back into the field!
