Description:
Scarce custom rifle by Sauer and so marked on the rib, on comml Mauser 98 action with lots of features in high condition. Matted front ring not D&T. Stock likely refinished when pad was fitted, flawlessly checkered 24lpi, LOP 13 3/4" thru perfectly fitted PM pad. Krupp 21" part octagon bbl with very pleasing narrow matted rib, two leaves marked 80 and 175, barrel-mounted sling swivel, clean bore. Numbers matching action w double set trigger, lever release floorplate & flag safety. Bolt body case colored. Super nice light weight traditional rifle in a useful brush/cat caliber. See a similar rifle on GI in 30-06 for almost 2x the price.
