WW2 WINCHESTER U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE CA. 1943. All original as issued except the barrel which is a modern commercial replacement. Serial numbered in the 1,320,xxx range manufactured in April 1943. Matching stock and hand guard. Stock with nice original “WRA/GHD” rectangular cartouche and Ordnance “CROSSED CANNONS” stamp. Has the original parkerized finish with light handling patina. Wood with the original finish with medium wear and a re-glued chip at the heal of butt. Butt stock stamped along edge of butt plate with partially illegible 7 digit G.I. service number. Working order and excellent to near mint bore. Nice mid WW2 Winchester Garand. Original WW2 G.I.sling.
