PRE-64 WINCHESTER MODEL 70 FEATHERWEIGHT .308 WIN MANNLICHER STYLE CUSTOM RIFLE WITH SCOPE, CIRCA 1961. Utilizing a featherweight rifle this expertly produced 18 14/" barrel with full length stock and forend cap in the Austrian style. Professionally inletted and wrap around fine checkering/stippling. Besides the period Redfield 2 1/2x steel scope on Redfield base/mounts it has it's original rear flip up sight and later front ramp sight with hood. Mint bore and rifling. Custom blue is 98% on barrel. Receiver is still in it's original matte finish blue. Origibnal tap holes for receiver sight still have it's fill screws(never utilized) under slot cut in stock for one if owner chooses to place one on it. Steel floorplate with it's original blue brilliant. Blued alloy triggerguard. Horn pistol grip cap an upgrade. Cheekrest(typical of European style). 13 3/4" length of pull over Pachmary White-Line black rubber vent pad still pliable. Weighs 8 lbs. With Bianchi Cobra basketweave sling and swivels. Extremely nice upgraded rifle to the European Mannlicher style. Be nice to have a Mannlicher Model 70 with Pre-64 quality done by a professional as this one is.
