A Winchester Model 21 12 Gauge from 1949. 2 Barrels numbered to the gun. 28 inch WS-1 Skeet and WS-2 Skeet. 30 inch Mod and Full. Leather Covered Pad 14" LOP,1 5/8"DAC, 2 1/2"DAH. In MINT Condition with just a few light handling marks. Mirror bores. Comes with its original leather Travel Case dated 1949 and marked 28/30. A Cody Winchester Model 21
letter included.
The gun was ordered by the top holding company of Winchester itself called "The Equitable Powder Manufacturing Company" founded by Franklin Olin and then John Olin.
Ordered 1949 in care of F.S. Elfred Jr.
Elfred Jr. served on Winchester's Board of Directors.
It looks like it was made November 1948 and then taken out of the Winchester warehouse in December 1949 for Elfred's Jr's November 1949 "rush for Christmas 1949". It directs the shop to select gun G2133B and then add extra barrels, beads, MCK initials, and leather pad done in record time.
