Here's a Marlin 39 that has never been in the field, not ever got wet.
This 39 is 100% in every way, inside and out.
serial # S 10114 with star on tang. Mfg 1928-29.
I've owned it a long time and kept it in heat , ac, humidity controlled room. All my guns are kept there.
I see see no sign of this 39 ever being fired. Probably tested only.
