Description:
Scarce Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in 300 H&H caliber. S/N 371*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1956. Excellent original condition showing 98% Blue, 97% Varnish. All of the correct SG components and markings unique to a mid-1950s rifle are present including SUPER GRADE stamps on the underside of the barrel and on the floorplate, backwards "S" on recoil lug, beautiful rust blued barrel, "jeweled" action components, Redfield 255 gold bead front sight, genuine SG swivels, etc. The leather sling is also included. The bore and mechanical functions of this rifle are excellent. The chamber has NOT been reamed out to Weatherby. A GREAT rifle in a very hard to find caliber and configuration from this production era!
