A factory letter accompanies this fantastic Pre Model 24 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on November 5, 1958 to the Williams Gunsight Company in Davison, Michigan. A gorgeous .44 Special that is equipped with a 6 1/2" barrel, original bright blue finish and the original numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips. The gun comes in the equally mint gold picture box with the tissue wrap, warranty card, cleaning tools and knurled sight adjustment screwdriver.
An outstanding example of the model this awesome .44 Special retains 99% of the original special ordered bright blue finish which shows only the faintest of collector type handling evidence. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a top-shelf scarce N-frame variation that will have a special place in any advanced collection!
