This is a Smith & Wesson MODEL 500 in .500 S&W Mag. cal. It is a X-frame, 5 shot, DA, two-piece 8 3/8 in.with a ported barrel and full shroud, stainless steel, recoil compensator, new Sorbothane Hogue wraparound rubber finger groove grips, micrometer click adjustable rear sight with an interchangeable front sight blades. This is on the 8 3/8 in. barrel only. The frame is drilled and tapped and it weighs 72 1/2 oz. with a satin stainless finish. It is the most powerful production revolver in the world today. Its massive .500 S&W Magnum cartridge delivers 2600 ft/lb. muzzle energy and can be used for hunting any game animal walking on the planet. It has a removable high efficiency compensator.
