Description:
A.H.Fox 12 gauge XE grade built in Philadelphia in 1917. This gun has 30" Chromox steel barrels choked modified (.020") and full (.040").The barrels were sent back to the factory at some time and the chambers opened to 23/4". It has a straight grip stock,a Kautsky single trigger,ejectors,and twin beads. it has beautifull executed deep cut engraving  with game birds on either side of the action and the fox on the floorplate.The gun retains traces of the case coloring and 95% of the original barrel blue. The stock has a 14" LOP over a leather covered pad.The bores are mint and lock up tightly on face.The top lever is still slightly to the right. This is an honest XE that has been hunted with but not abused. A great gun for pheasants,doves, or a great clays gun. Cased in a leather luggage case.C&R eligible.
