REDUCED to $500.00! This offering is a model 1899 Savage rifle chambered in .303 Savage. It was manufactured in 1903.The metal and wood have been refinished, but are in good condition. As seen in the pictures, the receiver has been drilled and tapped for a Williams side mount. Even though not pictured, the mount is included. The receiver has lost some of the finish around the foremost mount screw. The buttstock has the usual hairline cracks at the rear of the top tang. The bore is dark, but still has strong rifling. The rifle is on consignment at a local shop, so it could sell at any time. Insured shipping to Lower 48 States will be $40.00. I will be happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking!
