Description:
It appears this Winchester has been through some changes over it's lifetime. The serial number is 990k. The front half of the gun is off a 64. Where the model is stamped has been filed lightly and stamped 94. Barrel is 24 inches. Another oddity, there is a saddle ring on it. Rear sight is the flip type and the front sight is the later 64 style ramp. Receiver has quite a bit of blue remaining. Worn at the carry point. A possible re-blue on the receiver. Maybe when they changed the barrel.?. It does look very nice. Shotgun butt on this butt with hard rubber butt plate that has a couple of cracks. Nothing missing. Stock is in VG cond with just a slight splinter missing in top right hand corner. Forearm is very dark but cond is VG. This gun does have a great bore going for it. This gun is just begging to go on a deer, bear or wild bore hunt!!
