Exra fancy checkering - set triggers - Greener safety – Finest of Ernst Leitz Wetzlar ( of Leica fame) claw mt optics - Genuine horn grip cap and butt plate. Sling & strap swivels – classic German scroll engraving – mint bore - perfect optics. Rochlng – Sundrstahl R 7 L – finest German gun steel. Action reinforcing lug in stock. The stock has some tiger stripe – unusual for walnut German rifles. This rare piece looks like it has been meticulously cared for the whole time. To my knowledge - it is the only Vom Hofe for sale currently on the entire market place. Performance? - 93 grain near 4000 FPS! That is almost twice the bullet wt at the same velocity as a 50 grian 220 Swift , and it was developed over 80 years ago by German engineering. That is ‘smoking’ performance by even modern standards.
