Description:
An unusaul Parker GH grade 12 gauge with full length Briley 20 gauge insert tubes. Built in 1906 according to the factory letter, this gun has 30" damascus barrels choked improved cylinder (.005") and improved cylinder (.005"). In addition, it has been fitted with 20 gauge full length Briley titanium insert tubes with screw in chokes.The gun is in excellent condition retaining 25% of the original case colors and 90% of the original damascus pattern. The bores are excellent with no rust,or pitting. The barrels are on face and lock up tightly to the action with no play and have excellent wall thickness. The is one minor dent in the right barrel near the muzzle that does not show in the bore.(shown in photos).The stock is sound with no cracks or damage other than light handling marks. The stock retains the oiriginal dogs head buttplate with widows peak. Built on a #2 frame,the gun weighs 8-0 with the tubes in and 7-9 without the tubes. The stock dimensions are 143/8"x11/2"x21/2". I have shot the gun with 12 gauge 1oz loads.and 20 gauge 1 oz. loads and it performs well with either. The Briley tubes have and improved cylinder and a modified choke tube in the tube now. Others can be easily ordered from Briley if needed. A great Parker for all types of shooting. C&R eligible.
