Description:
This is a part octagon, part round barreled 22 cal. smoothbore for shot cartridges. It is marked J. Stevens A & T Co. Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. Pat. Apr. 17, 94. The gun is quite clean, with minimal wear and a decent bore that does show some corrosion. The barrel is without a dovetail provision for a rear sight. It has only a bead at the muzzle end, and is marked for 22-SHOT. It is just kind of a unique little piece that sparks curiosity among gun collectors and enthusiasts alike.
