Description:
This is a very lightly-used and exceptionally clean Taurus Model 44C Tracker double-action revolver in .44 Magnum. It features a bright factory gloss-blue finish with a factory color case-hardened trigger and hammer, a 4" inch factory-ported barrel (8 ports) with a full underlug, a ramped hi-viz front sight blade with a target-style adjustable rear sight, a 5-shot fluted cylinder, and Taurus factory recoil-taming "Ribber" black soft rubber 1-piece grip. Introduced in 2005, the .44 Magnum Tracker has proven to be an excellent weapon, extremely reliable, accurate, well-made, and easy to carry. Initially offered in gloss blue, black oxide, or stainless, the factory gloss blue option was discontinued shortly afterward. This particular example is one of the beautiful factory gloss-blue guns. The factory finish rates 98% plus, with the only deductions for a faint drag-line around the cylinder, a few cleaning marks on the cylinder face, and a few tiny little handling/storage marks. All of the factory markings are crisp and clear, and the color case-hardened trigger and hammer are in excellent condition with lots of bright color showing. The black factory "Ribber" recoil-taming soft rubber 1-piece grip is in excellent condition overall, showing only a few tiny wear marks around the Taurus logos on either side. The rubber is soft and tacky, and there are no tears, repairs, or chunks missing. The action on this Taurus is smooth and precise, and it is perfectly "in time" whether it is worked in single or double-action. The trigger on this Tracker is excellent, with a light, linear pull to a crisp break and a solid back wall. All of the other controls are in perfect working order as well, including the adjustable rear target-style sight. The bore in this revolver is mirror-bright and in perfect shape. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves throughout and there is no visible pitting, erosion, or imperfections of any kind. The 5 cylinder chambers are equally as clean and free from defects. This Taurus Tracker .44 Magnum revolver should function 100% like the day it first left the factory. If you have been looking for a handsome, affordable, well-made, medium-sized revolver with .44 magnum power, this 4" gloss-blue Taurus Tracker would be an excellent choice.
