Description:
This is a Swedish Rolling Block with a barrel marked 'H E Dimmick St Louis'' It is serial # 13485 and is chambered for some unknown centerfire cartridge of about .40 caliber. We have no idea how this combination originated but it has obviously been togrther for many years. Both metal and wood show a good untouched age patina. The stock has a 4' X 5/8 piece replaced near the muzzle at right side. The bore has strong rifling but is dark and shows some pitting. The action works but the half cock notch does not hold when the trigger is pulled.
